Epiphany bonfire, Arlington Recreational Park, Jan 5

In the spirit of the old tradition of Twelfth Night, there will be a bonfire fueled by Christmas trees at the Arlington Recreational Park (using the Route 313W entrance). Bring your tree if you wish, otherwise, just come for the warmth, the light, the hot chocolate and the good cheer.

Snowshoe Demo Day, Park-McCullough House, Jan 5

Snowshoe Demo Day will take place at the Park-McCullough House in North Bennington, and is presented by Nature’s Closet. Come for snowshoeing demonstrations and the opportunity to try out snowshoes.

Senior Recital, MAUHS Auditorium, Jan 3

Feast of Lights, St. Peter’s Church, Jan 4

The Feast of the Epiphany, a major feast day of the church, will be marked at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Bennington, with the Feast of Lights service at 7:00 PM, on Friday, January 4. The Annual Feast of Lights Service is a Candlelight Service that marks the Coming of the Wise Men and the Manifestation of Christ to the World. Music will include congregational carols with organ.

St. Peter’s monthly Pot Luck Supper will be held on Friday, Jan. 4, at 6 PM, preceding the Feast of Lights Service. Everyone is welcome.
