If you’ve been reading the “12 (shopping) Day” posts you can probably tell that we are fans of all the places we’re listing. However South Street Café has a very special place in our heart. Without them we’d be sitting like a blob in our darkened apartment, trying in vain to remember how to stand up. Perhaps I’ve said too much.

Holiday Bazaar, Arlington Memorial High School, Dec 20

Just in time for last minute gift and treat shopping, Arlington Memorial High is having its annual Community Service Holiday Bazaar. There will be a variety of food gifts for purchase including homemade granola, chocolate-covered pretzels, whole wheat and bran pancake mix, sweet cinnamon rolls, Scandinavian almond cakes and braided fruit and nut breads. Members of the school’s community service organization are coordinating a silent auction of donated items.
Proceeds from the bazaar will benefit several area non-profits.
Thursday from 9 am. to 4 pm. in Room 105.
