Day One: Junque, Seven Mountain

12-days-logo.jpg

Today we are beginning a daily section for those who still haven’t finished Christmas shopping or are unsure of that special something to get as a gift. Over the next week and a half, up to the Sunday before the big day, we’ll be hitting the shops and giving you our recommendations.

babylegs.jpgJunque Run by our dear friend Kim Post, Junque is a haven for exactly the kind of things the name describes: upscale tchotchkes and vintage finds at very affordable prices. Kim is carrying the latest trend for the winter which goes by one word—Babylegs. For girls and boys, babies to adults, Babylegs are for everyone. They are hard to keep in stock so stop in and check them out soon!

7mtn-dolls.jpgSeven Mountain the newly opened Creative Living Shop (soon to offer acupuncture), carries all kinds or custom, hand-made and one-of-a-kind items. Owner Stacy searches the globe, from the safety of her laptop, to find artisans and craft people doing some wonderful apparel, books, cards and the like. Our pick for Stacy’s shop are these kooky stuffed creatures. Made from soft felt, and bright colors, these dolls have a lot of personality and will make great bedtime snuggle partners for big and small kids.
